WHERE DO YOU DONATE SCHOOL UNIFORMS?
School uniforms are manufactured in the Liberty & Justice factory in Monrovia, Liberia, and are distributed locally to schools in the surrounding area. With your help, we plan to expand the production & distribution of school uniforms to the other countries where UNIFORM products are made.As it turns out, the obstacle of paying for school uniforms at public schools isn’t restricted to Liberia, but is a problem in most countries throughout the continent. We want to change that.

HOW MANY CHILDREN HAVE YOU DONATED SCHOOL UNIFORMS TO?
So far, we have donated over 8,000 uniforms since August 2015. Our goal is to donate 50,000 uniforms by the end of this year.

WHY DONATE UNIFORMS?
Liberian students, like many others throughout the continent, are required to wear uniforms at school. The price of a school uniform is often between USD $10 and $50. Liberians earn, on average, approximately $65 per month. Today, with Ebola’s lingering financial crisis, Liberian children could lose the opportunity to attend school or miss a significant number of school days simply because their parents cannot afford to purchase uniforms.Additionally - According to the Poverty Action Lab at MIT, donated school uniforms led to an increase in attendance rates by 44%, a rise in test scores, and a decrease in teenage pregnancy rates. Specifically, for every three girls who stayed in school because of the free uniform, two delayed their first pregnancy.
